CanadianSpaTech
Check you filter cycle duration and frequency. Should be set to run no more than 2 hours out of every 12. Search for an owners manual for your spa.

CanadianSpaTech
Set at F2. If it is set at say F8 that means it will run for 8 hours out of 12 or 16 hours out of every 24 Preset Filter Cycles. The first filter cycle begins 6 minutes after the spa is energized. The second filter cycle begins 12 hours later. Filter duration is programmable for 2, 4, 6, 8 or (12 hours continuous filtration, indicated by “FC”). The default filter time is 2 hours. To program, press “Temp,” then “Jets.” Press “Temp” to adjust. Press “Jets” to exit programming.

CanadianSpaTech
It was clipped from a Viking spa manual. Either that or press and hold light button for 5 seconds.
