Dylan91
I acquired an old hot tub for free. It needs 2 new pumps and a new spa pack. Not bad around 1500 dollars in parts. Anyways, the pumps that were in there were 4hp 48 frame pumps. When I enter the model number into a website it gives me a 4hp 56 frame pump saying this is the new part number for that old pump... But, I don't think a 56 will fit the motor mounts on a 48 correct? There is some 48 pumps on there that are 3 hp or 4.5hp would this change anything in the tubs function ? RDspaguy
HP is BS. What is the voltage and amp draw of the motors? 48 and 56 frame have the same base, though different brands may have a different base.
Dylan91
Looks like the voltage is 230 and the amps are 8.5/2.
