Craig C
Good afternoon I have a Lay z Spa Hawaii hot tub, excellent piece of kit for the relatively low price. one thing that lets it down is the filter. I have found that keeping the water clear is hard, we take all the precautions, I.e. shower before use etc. But the water gets cloudy easy, I keep on top of the filters, chlorine kept correct levels. As a last attempt I have ordered some Clearwater fluid from eBay to see if this helps. just wondering is their a small external filter unit that I can purchase to run alongside the existing filter unit to keep on top of it, or shall I take a different approach. thanks in advance. RDspaguy
Sorry Craig, I couldn't begin to tell you. I know that from all the unresolved threads I have seen about them, I would not even recommend one to my brother-in-law, whom I can't stand. Best of luck. Craig C
Thanks RD, everything about the tub is great, just the filter side takes a bit of keeping on top of. They should upgrade the filter side to be a bit bigger.
RDspaguy
I am happy it is working good for you. If you peruse the recent posts, you will see many la-z-spa threads about problems that remain unresolved. The same is true on the other forum I frequent. It seems that parts are nearly impossible to get, and even getting into it to troubleshoot is an ordeal.
Linds
Hi, do you regularly ‘shock’ your water?
