pig Posted February 12, 2020 Report Share Posted February 12, 2020 Hi, I have been noticing this sort of scum appearing around the edge of my hot tub, especially after a water change. Sometimes with age this turns darker and is sometimes a bit slimey. Chlorine levels are kept at about 3ppm with chlorine shocking every week. Could you please advise? CanadianSpaTech Posted February 12, 2020 Report Share Posted February 12, 2020 Buy some Ahh-Some line cleaner and remove/clean the bio film build up from inside the spas plumbing. Use spa shock weekly or when you have a cloudy spa. Clean filters WEEKLY. The scum is all the stuff you have on you when you enter the spa...Shampoo, under arm deoderant, make up, body oils...
