Dave Mac
Hi All, I have a 2002 Hot Springs Sovereign and have noticed that the heater stopped working. Through trial and error I have determined that disconnecting the top mount aux control panel (phone connector at Control Board) allows the heater to become functional again. I have heard others on this forum mention that this aux panel can cause gremlins when it goes faulty but can anyone share more detail? Can the aux panel be repaired and what is actually failing in this panel to impact the functionality of the heater? Cheers Dave
castletonia
When aux panels go stupid they can mess with the rest of the electronics. Doesn't matter the brand. I've seen it with Balboa, Gecko, Hot Spring, etc. Personally, I would just leave it unplugged and use the main control panel but if you really want/need it to work, then a replacement aux panel is the only fix. Dave M
Thanks for that reply. Your right it’s not the end of the work just using the main control. Prevents the kids from repeatedly turning jets on and off! thanks for your help
