Paul S Posted January 31, 2019 Report Posted January 31, 2019 I have a Limelight Flair (FLR1R3307) with a bad topside control board. If I replace it with part #76845, will it work as is or will it require some sort of software update? Quote
castletonia Posted January 31, 2019 Report Posted January 31, 2019 Should be plug-n-play. Only need to worry about software if you are replacing the main control board. Quote
Hot Spring Official Posted February 1, 2019 Report Posted February 1, 2019 That part number should work. You should make sure you use the correct silicone to seal it to the bar top. If you do not use Dow Corning 839 you can damage the electronic components in the control board. Your local dealer should have both for you, and would be your best source for a service call. Quote
Paul S Posted February 1, 2019 Author Report Posted February 1, 2019 Thank you very much for the help. Paul Quote
Paul S Posted February 24, 2019 Author Report Posted February 24, 2019 I replaced the board but pump 2 is not working. It was before the top board went bad. I noticed the black wire from motor 2 is not connected. Apparently it was working with only the green and white wires connected. Two questions: (1) Can I test pump 2 by plugging all three wires from pump 2 onto the pump 1 pins? (2) Does the new top board need to have the pump 2 black wire plugged in somewhere? Any suggestions?
