duncx
Hi there, I just bought a used Arctic Spa Frontier model and pump 1 only works on high speed, I knew that when I bought it. What can I do to fault find before dropping $500 on a new motor? How is the speed controlled from low to high speed? I do have quite a background in electrical fault finding. Cheers. Dr. Spa
First thing would be to determine if in fact it's a problem with the motor. More than likely it's not, and you'd be wasting $500 on a new one.
duncx
That's basically what I'm trying to do. Looking for advice on what to check and where to decide if it is the pump that needs replacing.
Foxy
Depending how old the spa is you would need to check if you are getting voltage from the low speed relay on the board and or also check low speed fuse on board. Also depending on what motor you have ....if it is a green egg motor they do have rest buttons on them.
