BritannyJ
Got my hot tub i refurbished filled with water and no leaks! Problem now is i turn on the breaker and i hear a click from pump #1 and a humm then click again and no more humm. Then it cycles and does the exact same thing on pump #2. The error is FLO. I slowly undid the connections to the pump and water spurted out and resealed. I bypassed the pressure switch to test and no change. What kind of troubleshooting should i do from here ? PreservedSwine
The pumps sound air locked, or broken (assuming the spa is wired properly). Can you tell if the shaft is spinning, or stuck?

Can you tell if the shaft is spinning, or stuck? With the tub filled i removed the fitting that sends water up from pump #1 and no water flowed out. On pump #2 i did the same thing and water started coming out soon as it was loosened. If the tub was full how come that one line would have no water in it? PreservedSwine
If that spa has cut-off valves, ensure they aren't in the closed position.
