coach2winstate
I have a Jandy Aquapure 1400 that is 7yr old now starting to have some issues with it. At the end of last year i started getting a error code 121 cleaned the cell and it went away. I have the old style cell (the square type) that i am using currently. now at the start of this season the cell reversing light is staying on continually and the add salt light will come on for 1-2 seconds and go off. Salt level is correct per the pool store. Question i have is: -what steps do i need to take to test the unit out? _-_-Update_ Checked the unit this morning now the Cell Reversing light is now off but the add salt light will come on for 1-2 seconds and go off. the word "Wait" is in the LED display on the unit No other lights are on except the "Power On" light in the bottom left corner
Pool Clown
You should get the "wait" for about 4 min after unit has power put to it. If the cell itself is at 7 years, you will probably need to replace it. Typical life is 10,000 hrs of use (5 years).
coach2winstate
Pool Clown, Thanks for the information and knowledge on the Jandy APURE 1400 i have had good success with it I was surprised with some of the negative reviews that customers have posted about Zodiac (the manufacturer of the Jandy APure 1400) warranty with this product Do you recommend any other salt-water chlorine systems? or is Jandy still the best on the market ??
