DigitalMan
Using the iPad app I have set my peak hours for the hot tub. Yet, it is almost always doing a filtration in the morning time around 9am. It must not know the real time. How do I set the time on my spa? It does not seem to be doable via the APP. Thanks, Paul. Water Boy
Hi Paul, I was 100% certain on that either, so I emailed Arctic Spas, and here is what they said to do. Hope this helps! The hot tub gets the time from your iOS device as soon as it connects. - Upgrade to the latest software (if you haven't done so already). - Reset the power to the tub, reconnect the iPad, and try again. - If it still filters at the wrong time let us know and we will make a request for the developers to check into it - Thanks for the feedback! DigitalMan
Thanks, but I can assure I've done all of that too. Latest firmware, and I have reset the tub power since. Still every day I can here it filtering in the morning. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks
Water Boy
When was the last time your software update was done? Can you tell me what software is reading on your spa so I can confirm that you have the most up to date?
DigitalMan
Firmware is 2.02.0032. Cheers.
Dnepr Dave
Why does it matter when it filters? My non-smart spa filters a couple of times a day for ten minutes, that's good enough for me. Dave
DigitalMan
PEAK hours. I'd prefer to have the pumps running when it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. I can't only afford an arm these days. Also, the artic spas minimum filtration cycle is one hour according to my APP
Loopcity
It will also circulate when it needs to heat
DigitalMan
For sure, but when I check status is says "filtering".
Water Boy
Firmware is 2.02.0032.Cheers. That is the most up to date software. I emailed Arctic again, and here was their reply, Can you ask him to send screen shots of what power management settings he is trying to set - we will try and recreate the issue, and get it fixed. You can email those to Dave--dave@goarctic.com
