AVSpaGuy
HI Folks, Im new here, located in southern California. I have an LA Spa esteem e8026 (inherited when i moved into my home a few years ago). The spa seems to have slowly started to leak. However only when the heater or jets are on. I opened the panels and there is no leak from the heating unit or pumps...i found that towards the bottom of the spa where the jet that circulates the heated water goes into the spa, its leaks. But only if the heater or pump is turned on. Is there a way to fix this without draining and attempting to tip the spa up and remove the bottom? is it just a problem with the jet itself leaking? Thanks!
ChaiSTi
It's best to isolate the leak and repair/replace whatever fitting that is leaking. But if are trying to avoid doing that, at this time, then maybe a product like Fix-A-Leak may work for you. Since you know that it leaks only when Jets 1 comes on, you can just try running the product through Jets 1 plumbing. Jets 1 draws all of its water through the filters. Make sure to remove the filters when adding a product like Fix-A-Leak.
