treasurespast
I just purchased a new cover for my spa. My old one (the original one) fell apart at the seams after about 2 years. I think my main problem is that my spa is in constant strong sun during the day, and the UV rays broke down the hinge seam. The vinyl itself didn't hold up too well either. Is there any type of product on the market that I could put on my new vinyl cover to help protect it from the strong sun? Maybe something that could be applied directly to the cover? I would consider one of those protective caps that goes over the cover, but I have a triangular spa so it's an odd shape to fit, plus my spa is in a high wind area and I don't think one would stay put anyway.
