SwingT
I've got a roughly 70" by 70" older HydraSpa. Have had it for ten years. And the second cover is dying. Just looking round the net - not much in the way of reviews, and of course the web sites indicate that what they build is the best! Right now, what looks best to me - is spamate - which is the same as spacoverbuydirect.com Anybody have any experience with them? Or another manufacturer that you might recommend? I'm in the southeast US in SC.
Dr. Spa
Their mesh underside will cause/allow the polyethylene seal around the foam to degrade faster, allowing the foam to absorb moisture. Also, last I looked at them, there was no mention as to the thickness of their vinyl or the UV or pigment rating, they use aluminum re-enforcement of an unknown gauge (typically thinner and weaker than steel), their polyethylene wrap is only 4 mil., there's no double stitching, their basic cover is only 1 pound density foam, and the majority of the hinge area is uninsulated. castletonia
The company I work for has used Sunstar for the last 14 years and have had great luck with them. I think SpaMate is Panorama Cabana. If so, they make a decent cover. Could do better but could do much worse.
