BillinKingstonSprings
I have an in-ground vinyl liner pool that was installed about 5 years ago. I have been relatively happy with minimal problems. This year I need to replace my Polaris booster pump and have looked at both the Polaris and the Hayward models. Is there any difference in the two or would it matter if I replaced the Polaris booster with the Hayward? They are both 3/4 hp motors. Hayward's are new since they started making pressure cleaners. The standard booster pumps from Hayward seems to be a little quieter than Polaris's. I know Polaris also makes a quiet booster pump
Pool Clown
Those QT Polaris pumps are more expensive. But they are easier to work on than the old style Polaris pumps. I believe the Lectro (Pentair) booster is less than the Polaris, If your shopping.
