chem geek Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 A TA of 60 ppm is fine if your pH is stable. The basic rule is to adjust the TA so that the pH is stable. Even 50 ppm is sufficient pH buffering unless you were to switch to using acidic sources of chlorine (Dichlor or Trichlor) or oxidizer (MPS).
