crd1963
I have replaced the ozonator in my Sundance spa myself. I have bubbles coming out of the ozone jet, but it seems like they are much smaller in size and maybe quantity. I have checked the filter,(removed it and ran the tub, same amount of bubbles). How do I know if there are enough bubbles? Is there something else I should check? Thanks
Dr. Spa
The ozonator has, little to nothing, to do with the bubbles entering the water.
crd1963
The ozonator has, little to nothing, to do with the bubbles entering the water. What would be causing the decrease in bubbles?
Dr. Spa
Injector or flow issues
dlzc
The ozonator has, little to nothing, to do with the bubbles entering the water. In your sketch above, you show the flow backwards through the injector. The "short fat" side is simply to trade speed for pressure. The long tapered side is the pressure recovery region, and is critical to proper function. No matter whose injector you buy. Mazzei's have flow arrows embossed in... http://www.mazzei.net/?q=injectors

JAMES THE HOT TUB GUY
Happy now? (refresh). Two questions what year and model sundance do you have and what type of ozone did you put in it?
crd1963
Happy now? (refresh). Two questions what year and model sundance do you have and what type of ozone did you put in it? It is a sundance cameo which we bought around 2001. I put in a sundance corona discharge ozonator that I bought online.
zspas
There are two kinds of ozone generator 1, ordinary ozone generator 2, ozone generator with air pump build in, air pump push O3 into spa, so there are many bubbles, you feel it is stronge
