I know that when the pumps are on some of the water is bypassing the filter! Question 1. Is water passing through the filter when just the circulation pump is on(no other pumps are on)? Question 2. Is water passing through the filter when the main pumps are on? As it looks to me...the only time water is passing through the filter is when you hit the clean button!!! Let me know what you think! Thanks The same pump that turns on during the clean cycle will turn on if you hit that particular jet button or when it comes on automatically. If the jets are all running, you have filtration also. Thanks "Bypass" does not mean it totally bypasses all the water from the filter, it simply means the pump draws water both through the filter and through the line drawing water from the footwell so that some of the water can bypass the filter. One of the main pumps therefore is tied to the filter and a bypass while the circ pump draws all its water through the filter. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
