Help With A Tub Purchase

Recommended Posts

I found a 2008 Marquis Reward at a dealer for $4900 used. It will come with chems, steps, new cover, and a 1 year leak warranty. Here is the deal. It was a leaky tub. Dealer brought it back to the shop. Fixed all the leaks. The customer came in and saw a 2009 model with all the bells and whistles. Made a deal for that tub. This was used about 6 or so months. The dealer will warranty the tub leak free for 1 year. Think I should do it or buy a new one same model? Pros, Cons to this? The dealer I am confidant will take care of any issues. Very good CS from what I hear. I would like to stay under $7000 price range.

that's a great price for an 08

I bought it. It's not the Geneva which I really liked but, I am sure it'll suit my purpose. If the economy would have been better I would have gone for the Caldera Geneva with all the bells and whisltes for $9000.00. Premium radio etc. But, this I got a new cover, steps, remote, lift, chems, delivery, 09 pillows, and a booster seat for under $5300.00 with tax. So, that I could just write a check for. Versus financing $3000.00 of the Geneva. I think I use this one for a couple of years and when things turn around get the Cambria by caldera. By that time thet tub will be on the market for a couple years.
