dave828
Hi guys, im new here, so go easy on me. Ive got an electric pump. And while using a vaccume to clean some gunk up from the floor of the pool, i gobbled up some black sand. It went into my impeller and the impeller housing. Ive tryed to clean it out using water, but with no luck. Its also on the impeller. The pump will run, but only for 5-60 secs, then jam. when it jams, ill put a screw driver in there, and tap the impeller then it will start again only for a short time. The sand is attracted to the magnet in the impeller and the magnet in the impeller hosing (motor). It's and electric motor that dosent use any ropes, belts or chains to drive the impeller. The only thing moving in there is the impeller itself when its runnin smoothly. How can i get that sand out of the motor and off the impeller?? Please help me. Thanks Dave
