synapse8888
Am sick of the plain white light, and would like to at least throw a different bulb/lens in there. Anyone tried anything like this before? Here are a couple options I've seen: 1) http://www.spadepot.com/shop/Lens-Set---5-...t-P830C213.aspx (gotta check the lens diameter on my light) 2) http://www.spadepot.com/shop/Digital-Color...D-P652C213.aspx (looks pretty cool, wonder how well it works) 3) http://www.spaworkssupply.com/cart/store.p...0-05-j-200s-ect (same thing, more $, but made for Jacuzzis from the sound of it) And lastly, I was told this: Your other option would be to replace the light and add a waterfall light with the Jacuzzi LED system. This would be much more complicated an would require direct wiring to the cicuit board and is not recomended. It would also be much more expensive (around $355). The parts for that option are as follows: http://www.spaworkssupply.com/cart/store.p...75-j-380385-and http://www.spaworkssupply.com/cart/store.p...75-j-380385-and Which would be pretty cool, but I don't want to try something crazy like this unless others have and have reported success! Anyone have any experience with any of these types of lighting upgrades?
otis_skywalker
Yeah the colored leds work fine, better than the colored lens for sure... I'd bet you'd find that the Jacuzzi one is brighter amd better quality.
synapse8888
The only thing I'm worried about is using one of these LEDS where there wasn't one before. Is it relatively risk free? I'd hate to spend $90 on something just to have it fry
