tnt3
Moving to Edmonton and a new hot tub owner I just purchased a Tundra Signature Series with the forever floor. The question I have is what did you do for ground prep so that the tub sat level and did not twist or heave. The house I purchase has a grass lot that has been established for 8yrs. Artic claims you can set up on level ground no issue I have had time believing this. I am only going to be living in Edmonton for approx 3-4yrs so concrete pad is out I will be moving the hot tub again. Thansk for your input. Cheerz
I leveled my spot, which took all or most of the grass away. Used 4x6 pressure treated as timber as the edging 12 inch spiked together at the ends (predrilled helps). About 3 inches of crush road gravel, rented a tamper. If you remember, I would put a weed barrier down. Then topped with couple more inches of washed pea gravel. Put some 2x4" down on the pea gravel and slide hot tub into position then remove the 2x4's. Went through this past winter and no heaves. I have my weed barrier for sale!

By the deck the top of the 4x6 is level with the ground and in the front I had to add some dirt under the 4x6 to make it all level. I did not remove the 4x6 edging, it holds in all the gravel and pea gravel. I live just outside of Edmonton. I would to figure out how to upload pics.
