I recieved a free hot tub from a friend about a year ago. Just got it hooked up this weekend and the red power led is blinking. I know that the heater is bad (what my buddy said!) so i knopw I have to replace that and the thermastors, but would that have anything to do with the jet pump not working. I have great flow through the circ. pump, as i should i removed the filters to make sure it wasn't that. I have checked all the incomming power, and everything looks great, just no jet pump. the pump doesnt humm or anyhting, i checked the power at the jet pump and nothing. Help!

When the red light is flashing nothing will work. Are you sure the circ pump is working? A red flashing light is either a bad circ pump or a bad thermistor. Once a tub sits for a while it is pretty common for the circ pump to go bad.

When you reset the breakers does the light flash right away? If not, how long does it take?
