 I have recently( about 6 months ago) purchased a vaccum for the pool at walmart. I bought the hose as well. I am haveing the hardest time hooking this vaccum and hose up to my current pool pump.

This is the pump I have Model 633 --2500 GPH

I have this on a Intex 16x48 above ground pool. and it does a great job.

I purchased a hose and vacuum from walmart

and the hose is

is there anyone out in pool land that could help me connect this to my pump.

I am willing to do this off the list and through personal emails. even if I could find a diagram or something, i am desperate...

Have you solved this yet?

On one Intex I took care of the fittings both inside and outside the pool were screw on fittings which left a 1 1/2" female threaded fitting. Generally, since its suction you dont have to have a great connection, you can just put the vacuum hose into the wall fitting (after priming the hose of couse - above ground pumps arent made to self prime or get any of the air out.)

If you can get this part to unscrew and this still doesnt work for you, Ide take the fitting and hose into a pool store and see what they can do.
