H2x Swimspa Owners

I HAVE HAD A MASTERSPA H2X SWIMSAP FOR 8 MONTHS AND AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE SWIM CURRENT VARYING GREATLY. ALL MECHANICALS HAVE BEEN CHECKED: MOTOR, PROPELLER, CONTROLS, ELECTRICAL, AND AMPERAGE. IT SEEMS LIKE THE OUTPUT AND INPUT CURRENTS ARE MIXING IN THE PROPELLER CHAMBER. IT IS EITHER AIR COLLECTING AT THE TOP OF THE CHAMBER UNABLE TO ESCAPE AND MAKING WAVES THAT MIX THE CURRENTS, OR THE PROPELLER IS NOT CENTERED AND THE OUTPUT IS HITTING THE WALL AND BOUNCING BACK TO MIX THE TWO CURRENTS. MASTERSPA HAS TRIED TO HELP BUT SEEMS CLUELESS SINCE IT IS NOT IN THE MECHANICS. IT ALSO COULD BE THE BASIC SCIENCE OF IT ALL. DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THEIRS ?

Which model do you have, it is the original?

I've had my H2X crosstrainer running for just a month and have not really used the swim current enough yet. I'm just too out of shape  The current has seemed reasonably steady, but I mostly use it in the 3 to 4 range for any length of time. I used to swim a lot and my mechanics are OK, I'm just a sprinter ... and an old sprinter

Just thinking here: is the water velocity changing or is location of the main current stream changing? Not sure if that makes sence, but I have noticed that the "sweet spot" may move forward or backward a bit.

I had wet tested the 17" model (newer with 2 seats) . I have the 14'7" crosstrainer and do notice a differance with turbulance between the too. I know they have different shapes as they have re-designed it.

THANK YOU FOR REPLYING. i have the original h2x model, the big one, one seat in one corner and the steps in the other corner and the standup jets along with the seat jets.

i get in and turn it to the highest level to swim. the actual velocity of the current is changing from almost nothing to the highest, and it can change on a dime. the motor sounds the same and they have actually checked all the mechanics of it. i am starting to think that it has something to do with the output and intake being both at the front. i went to the Swimex site yesterday and saw how the output is wide the whole way across the front, then at the other end is the intake that routes it back through channels to the front. that way the water is only flowing in one direction. i have even thought about trying to retrofit mine to work that way. masterspa was very interested until they found out it was not the mechanics. now they have abandoned me. my big problem is that there is no way they could have made that promotional video in my unit.
