PaulT
We're in a new house that happily has a 2002 Cal Spa 2100 series. It's filled and powers on fine, but only heats when we manually engage the jets. It doesn't appear to run filtration cycles, and won't maintain temperature unless we turn on the high speed pumps for the jets. This unit has 2 high speed pumps, and doesn't appear to have a separate filtration pump as there's nothing plugged into the filtration pump socket on the control box. The manual says this configuration is okay. I've followed all of the instructions for setting filtration cycles to no avail. The "jets" button cycles through 4 settings: Hit once: first high speed pump comes on Hit again: both high speed pumps are on Hit again: only the 2nd pump is on Hit again: both pumps off The manual says the first time I hit Jets, filtration should run, I presume via slow speed operation of one pump? Any insight on this? How do I begin figuring out what the problem might be? Thanks!
