ps558
One of my pop up's does not have as much pressure as all the others. Not sure where to begin... Any suggestions? I am guessing you mean the in the floor pop up cleaners? If you are some were near you pool equipment should be a dome looking thing with pipes coming up from the bottom. This is the machine that runs the pop ups. Shut the system down and remove the top. Inside is a mechanism with gears. pull it out and look for any debris or stripped gears. Do not take it apart. You should be able to spin the shaft in the middle by hand. See if it operates freely and all the plunger open and close.
Brianmonty
Yes, I am referring to my pop up cleaners. I removed the top of the pop up mechanism and all seems to be ok. There are two pop up heads that are powered at the same time, one is working ok the other has the low power. Any suggestions on how to remove the pop up head to check for debris? Brianmonty
I just tried some more trouble shooting on the pop up head. When I stand on the pop up with the system on, the head begins to work with a little pressure from me. I feel like I am pushing down about 1/4" which engages the head and it begins to work.
