Glid
I want to put removable deck panels on two sides that go right up to 1.50 inches from my tub. Tub height = 39.00 and Deck height = 24.00 tub sits in a corner notch. My problem is figuring out the under structure. What is the best method to support these panels? It defeats my purpose to put 16.00 OC joists right up to the tub, right? To pull the tub panels I'll need 4-6 inches clearance, but I want to leave a workzone for maintenance. I have seen deck were the joist closest to the spas were put in hangers but not nailed fast so they give support for the deck and can be removed for service.
