waterbear
Trichlor is a slow dissooving form of chlorine in tablet form. There is a granular form that is usally used for treating back spot algae. For every 1 ppm of FC it adds it also adds .6 ppm CYA to your water. Dichlor is a very fast dissolving form of granular chorine. For every 1 ppm of FC it adds .9 ppm CYA to your water. Both of these stabilzied chlorines can cause your pool to become overstabilized, especially if you have a cartridge filter (which you do not backwash). There are feeders for both types available but trichlor feeders are the most common.
