  1. It just doesn't happen that way. Some suggestions would be make sure the filter is clean because that would restrict flow if it wasn't. Another thought would be when was the last time you ran a jet line cleaner through the tub? Some of the lines maybe clogged. How long has it been like that for?
  2. A pump either works or it doesn't. I've never seen one that doesn't work as well as it used too. Was anything else with the tub wrong that you feel should've been warrantied in the 5 years?
  3. I've never seen bad reviews on them actually I haven't seen much about them. They are a decent tub. There is better and there is worse. Many of the bad reviews you read anywhere has more to do with the dealer rather then the manufacturer. Most of us who sell spas on here also fix them. It's typically a requirement of selling them. Glad your happy with your tub
  4. I'm not a dealer of either. If you go through the forum $5700 seems about right for the rhythm. Have read about them going as high as $6500 and as low as $5500 so your price seems better then most
  5. The clarity is the entry level version of the Master spas like the hot spots are the entry level hot springs. I would pick anything made by hot springs before I would pick a master spa
  6. Lol you're right I'm thinking of the resort. So you ended up with a bigger tub for about the same price. Enjoy it
  7. That's a great great deal. The epic has a lounge though?
  8. No not at all. The worst that's happenned to any of my floor models is a couple of scratches from people getting in and out.
  9. Another aspect that the reward has that the 545 doesn't is the hk40 jets as well as the geyser jets. The HK40 give you the best massage out of any jet I want to say that's available in any hot tub on the market. As far as negotiating it's always worth a try. Are any accesories included in that price such as cover lifter or stairs? Does either tub have any options such as the upgraded lighting option? Seeing as though it's last year's model the dealer may be willing to work with you a little on the price. I personally wouldn't go any lower on the reward as that's already lower then I sell it for but I include steps and cover lifter plus I always order the bigger tubs with the constellation lighting so that adds on a little extra. If you can get all that for $9500 you did really well
  10. Pump 1 in both are the same pump 2 is about double the cost. The controls and topside controller are much fancier and do a lot more though. Those are considerably more but should last longer. To me the real value difference between the 2 is the warranty and performance. Have you wet tested either? That's what my next step would be
  11. I take it you mean the 545 is $6700? Jet action in the reward is better, warranty is much better 5 year versus 2 year on components, shell is the same. The cabinet is of better quality on the reward also. The reward in my opinion also filters much better. Two larger filters compared to one smaller one. Do you know if the 545 is full foam? I think either tub is a great tub it's just a matter if you think the reward is $2800 better. I think both prices are fair both a little under what I sell them for. For what it's worth I sell much more of the reward model by explaining the features it has versus the 545.
  12. I'm always partial to the tubs with a proven track record. The insulation and overall quality would lead me to jacuzzi. Not a big fan of the way vita does insulation. The good thing about this site is their is a few dealers of each brand on here so you should get some replies.
  13. Doesn't matter total amps in your house matters what else is on that particular breaker. Try to only run the tub from that breaker. Keep it running all the time
  14. By the sounds of the arctic dealer I'd probably go hot springs. Seems like a dealer who will provide you better support after the sale. Good luck in your search
  15. Have you tested any? Reason I ask is because you say you are looking for a 2/3 person spa but the hot spot tx is tight for 2 people. If 2 will be using it all the time I would rule this one out. The sx is a decent no frills, not many jets tub. The relay would be a step up. As far as the artesian the 735L was definitely a model last year though I did not it wasn't on their website anymore. Both the relay and the 735L are pretty comparable as far as warranty goes and are fairly equal tubs. If I were you I would try to schedule wet tests and see which one fits your situation best. All the tubs you mentioned are decent middle of the road spas and the pricing seems inline with what they go for around my way. I compete against both these brands quite often and can say that most customers I see with these tubs are generally happy with them
  16. It's pretty much bottom of the barrel. It's a cheap Laguna bay spa with a dr wellness label on it. You can find plenty of decent 4-5 person spas in the 6k range. Hot spot by hot springs, jacuzzi 200 series, marquis e series, nordic just to name a few
  17. I will check tomorrow for you. I have never really noticed that before
  18. The marquis has a fully sealed abs bottom. As far as the circ pump there are 2 ways to filter water high flow and low flow. A tub with the low flow system uses a circ pump. The circ pump is typically one of the first things to fail in a tub. High flow uses the single speed on pump #1 to filter. The marquis is completely adjustable to set the filter cycles for as little or as much as you require. Either way if done properly is really effective and I wouldn't let having a circ pump or not having one sell me on the tub. Jacuzzi makes a quality tub but the quality on the marquis is a little better in my opinion. The price you are getting on the j series tub is about what they go for but the price on that marquis is very good. The only way to figure out what you want is wet testing. Hopefully the marquis dealer is set up to let you try it out
  19. I would also be worried about not being able to test the lounge. As far as overall quality I would rank them marquis, jacuzzi, artesian. That particular artesian has a 3 year warranty on the equipment whereas the jacuzzi and marquis are both 5 years. The marquis has more jets and hits more therapy points on your body. I would try both the reward and if you tell the jacuzzi Dealer you are serious there's no reason why he shouldn't fill it. That price on the reward is super low as I sell that particular tub for over 10k. Good luck in your search
  20. Epic is a great choice. Very nice tub
  21. That's a super price on the wish. I like the lounge better in the wish but like the seating in the reward better. Any chance he lets you wet test?
  22. Hi Jeff, Pretty sure you wet tested the promise at my store a week ago. The stereo on the marquis also has a subwoofer (though I know the stereo isn't a concern for you). The optima is also full foam but the bottom isn't sealed. They are both very good spas but in my opinion the marquis is better built. From small details such as service valves to the design in which the jets operate. The hk40 jets have to be run on their own because of the high flow that is pushed through those jets. Each of those jets push up to 40 gpm through them. What I want say is that sundance makes a bad tub. It has the rep for being a good tub for many reasons. Most people choose the marquis more for my reputation of taking care of my customers at every turn. Let me know if I can be of anymore help. I will call you when I get the euphoria in. Once you wet test that I think the decision will become an easy one for you Matt
  23. The wish is available in many colors. Some people like the textured look better some prefer the shiny look. The lounge in the wish is one of the best seats in any tub I've been in.
  24. Teddy bear has the reputation for being a good dealer. I believe they are one of the biggest hot springs dealers in the country. . Congrats on the purchase
