  1. OK, Silly question, we received the tub today and as of this evening chemistry is right and tub is heating up. However, the cover does not sit flat and true. When I put a 6'straight edge on the sealing surface there appears to be about a 3/8"crown with the taper going out to the edge both ways. When I put the straightedge on the slab it is perfect. I can only deduce that the tub is crowned on purpose. Can one of you Marquee experts please chime in. Thank-you once again for your help...and yes-the tub is beautiful.
  2. Thank-you Markee, we ended up buying an epic. Hope we made the right decision, tub will be delivered Saturday and we are extremely excited.
  3. They did offer if we ask them to they will. I agree on the lounge. We did dry test and the captains chair seems great as well.
  4. Thank-you for the response Apollo. The dealer we are working with has a 2013 wish on the floor and a 2013 reward. We are really struggling to decide which one is the best choice. We can pick up the wish for about 8500 with lifter and step out the door. Reward is more expensive with a few bells and whistles as well, though not too important to us.
  5. Hello all: I am considering trading my marquis rendezvous for a new marques wish. My question is the rendezvous has a very shiny surface, the wish has more of a granular texture and looks like white granite, are there any issues with this type of surface? If anyone has a wish I am curious how you like it as well. Thank-you
  6. Thank you, I will check the settings right away. I see I posted this in the wrong spot but couldn't figure out how to move it. I really appreciate the effort and time you and many others put into this forum.
  7. Hello all, Just looking for a little help. I have used chemgeeks program for several years with great success. The problem was when we are out of town etc. We sold the old tub, 500 gallon LA spas and bought a 2 year old Marquis rendezvous in perfect condition. From what i can tell the spa was in great condition, clean, and being used when we bought it about two weeks ago. It had the spa frog set-up and this is what the previous owners were using. I switched to bromine using Waterbear's 3 step process exactly as written. At fill the ph was 7.4, ta 130, calcium 80 (raised to 120). Am using the recommended floater with seven pucks (leisure time) in it at the 2 setting (tub is only 150 gallons)(Tub also has a ozinator) Now my question. After about 4 days the bromine with the taylor test kit showed 17ppm and the tub was foaming a bit with the jets running. I also noted a few floaters on the water that were transparent and acted like oil does when it floats. I put in 4 ozs of hydrogen peroxide and the bromine went to zero and the ph was an 8+ after the peroxide. With all that said, I decided to drain and fill today and had the exact same initial readings. Should I leave the floater out until the bromine level comes down? I checked PH and it was high again but I am relating this to the high bromine. Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated and thank-you in advance.
