  1. That is a great price especially in Canada! You will love the Sarena Bay!
  2. I've seen this before and the spa had a stuck heater relay and bad Hi-limit, it was worse than this one. I'm glad no one was hurt, good luck with getting that replaced with something you feel comfortable using.
  3. My personal opinion would be let it run, unless you are expecting freezing weather in the 2 weeks that you will be gone. I would bet it should be fairly easy to get the water straight upon return, but freeze damage is a major concern if that is an issue.
  4. Why don't you shoot me your info, I might be able to arrange a wet test in your area. The Nautilus is a great spa, I wouldn't make a decision until you tried it out.
  5. I like the D1 Nautilis Get the Niagara. There you go, Roger and I canceled each other out so the decision is back on you. 2nd vote for the Niagra. o.k i gotta throw in the vote for the D1 Nautilus.... Of course the Nautilus..!
  6. What is it about the Nautilus that seems plain? Maybe you could check out the Californian with LFX or the Chairman II, they are really well built and beautiful spas.
  7. Hey recycleman, shoot me a contact number and I'll see if I can help! Dennis D1 Tech Rep
  8. Since Ged was asking over a year ago I gotta believe he'smade a decision. Good catch! But not necessarily true, lots of people wait much longer to get the right spa! JMO
  9. Wannago, Sorry to hear that things didn't work out, sometime these things happen to all manufacturers. A manufacturer is only as good as the dealers that support it. Just my opinion.
  10. Hey Ged, I would recommend that you check out the D1 Spa's products there in NZ we have a great dealer in that area, and they are the best in service. The company is called Poynter's Pool Shop, they have locations in Kingsland and I believe Aukland New Zealand. Check them out, I trust they will take really good care of you. Dennis D1 Technical Rep NZ, Australia,North America
  11. I wonder if it comes with a lifetime supply of blue dye? It seems like way to many jets to be enjoyable! Just my opinion.
  12. Haven't given it much thought, what kinda mileage would you get? Just kidding, interesting concept!
  13. He's right, rotators or spinners. Take your pick, it is from the jets.
  14. I'm not sure that I woul base my decision on where a spa is manufactured.D1 Spas are made in California, and they are one of the best selling spa in Canada.I would recommend you with a few other brands before you make a selection.
  15. The best option is replace the relay, if you have the option. If for some reason the sensors fail and the relay is stck closed, you " could" have a major problem. In the old days we would clean them like a set of points on car , but I agree with John, you are probably passed that point. Dennis
  16. Check out the Triad II or the Serenade from D1 Spas at www.d1spas.com
  17. Not sure about Diamante, bu what made you decide against the D1 Spa?
  18. I would have to agree, you will need an electrician for this issue.
  19. TXTURBO, That is a stuck flow switch, replace the flow switch and the issue will be resolved. Gecko uses logic to cycle the circulation pump in the event that it read a closed signal that doesn't open when the temperature setting has been reached. If you unplug the flow switch, the pump will run normally but will indicate a flow condition. This is a simple repair, I would check with the local dealer or www.easyspaparts.com to order the switch.
  20. Hello Jr, I would recommend that you go into Leisure World and wet test what they have, the are a large D1 dealer that has been around for quite along time. I wouldn't make a decision until you have wet tested the spas that meed your needs. I would suggest you check out the Sarena Bay and the Amore Bay, they are both have massage sequencer controls and his and her seating. Check them out, you won't be disappointed..! Dennis Tech Rep D1 Spas.
  21. Shelld, leaks are always difficult issues to resolve.I work for D1 Spas, and would only suggest you wet test the Nautique.Make you decision based on you needs, a warranty is very important with any investment. If you have any questions about the D1 products, shoot me a message. I work in tech support, and make no money on any sales! Dennis Tech Support D1 Spas
  22. Hello Chris, I would also check the D1 Spas dealer in your area, D1 has tons of energy efficient spas in Ontario and all of Canada. 23. Otis is right, from what I understand they keep it active to allow for easy location on the jack in the dark.
  24. Possibly a small transformer fuse!It would be unlikely to have good incomming power, but nothing on "all outputs" of the board.
