  1. Is there any voltage at the output were the pump plugs in? Are you sure the fuse is OK? What is the temp of the water you are putting in? With 3 dots there is no way the spa can call you heat.Hi Limit trips out around 112
  2. I have had good success with the Hayward Tigershark.
  3. Yes Rheems makes Raypack Heaters. The RP 2100 series electronic are the best
  4. My opinion is any ground water problem needs to be addressed no matter what knid of pool is installed. Ask the Fiberglass dealer for customers name of pools in the are you can look at
  5. With all stuff going on with anti entrapment nowadays get rid of it. They really are not needed and if the gov keep screwing with VGB laws it will cost you more to have a SVRS device added to the system, unless you have 2 drains a least 3 feet apart.
  6. Thank you sir. I service them and you probably saved me some time. Update. The problems with new CEI pack has been resolved. They forgot to water proof the topside control. It would get damp ans blow the 20 amp fuse. New topsides are available now and all new spas have them. The way to tell it lift up the overlay sticker on the control panel and on the right side all new ones have a red bead in the silicone gel. If your dreammaker has a white colored trim to it, don't worry it a Balboa topside control
  7. If there is ground behind the concrete you can dig behind it and tunnel under. At the filter is there two pipes that go back to the pool above the ground? If so they need to cut apart and then pressure tested to find which one.
  8. Did the pool guy ever clean the filter after cleaning up the pool. Even a sand filter can be cleaned. If it is a DE or cartridge filter take it apart and clean it. If it a sand filter change the sand in it. A clean filter should reduce pressure and make the skimmer work better. There is tons of old pools here with small return lines and they work well in circulating. Give some info on filter system
  9. You already solved your problem. The return lines (jets) are leaking. You will to find out which one it is if there is more than 1. Not knowing what your pool looks like you might be able to dig behind the pool deck and tunnel under to the return line.
  10. Before you go through all that. How long do you run the pump you have now? It the pool system ran by a auto controller? The reason I ask is you can reduce the run time of your current pump. If you have a pool controller system, you can buy a two speed pump. The last option is to buy a AO Smith Centerion motor which is more efficent motor than a standard pump motor.
  11. 1. As of right now I no of spa manufacture saying that warranty is void is a salt system is used. 2. I have heard nothing of legislation about discharge. 3. Any properly balanced water is a pool or spa should have no effect on you your skin 4. If the spa is only being used on weekend etc look at systems that use Balboa Controls. They have a sleep mode were it will filter water and not heat until a 20 degrees temp difference. They also have a freeze protection is water gets to cold. I don't see using a system that has no modes to pick from what is the sense of heating water while no one is around even if it set to 80.
  12. They're connected to the neutral bar in the GFCI box, along with the pigtail from the GFCI breaker. This is incorrect? If I just wire-nut the two neutrals together in the box, the GFCI pigtail will be on the neutral bar all by itself, essentially unconnected to anything. Is the nuetral wire going to the spa attached to load nuetral on the GFCI breaker? It must be on the breaker or it will never set. Follow the diagram on the back of the spa pack cover for connections. It could be a dual voltage pack 120 or 230
  13. The Caldera and Solana are both made by Watkins. All four are made from good manufactures that make good product. Pick the one that feels the best to you and has the features you like. If it were me my order would be Sundance Marquis Cakldera Solana
  14. I would stay with the 1 hp pump. The new pumps at 1 hp are better than old ones. A two speed pump does not come with a switch to change speeds. It seems they do this to try to sell more pool control systems. Hayward does have a ON Command system that is a good price and will run a 2 speed pump. Whisperflo is a good pump. Not knowing what the water features are like you might a pump with a higher head pressure. If they work to your liking with old pump then a stanard whisperflo will do
  15. I think the CM-III is a good lifter. I agree Covermate 3 is a good quality product
  16. After the flow switch. Most spas have ozone jet installed in the shell already. look around in the footwell for a small jet or jets. In my experience, most spas do NOT have an ozone jet. Spas with circ pumps use mazzei injector, just as original poster is using. spas without a Circ pump do have a ozone jet.
  17. After the flow switch. Most spas have ozone jet installed in the shell already. look around in the footwell for a small jet or jets.
  18. safe way is to reblow the line and plug it again with a new gizmo if you can get the broken piece out. If not use a rubber plug and then take a plastic quart bottle fill about 1/3 with small rocks and put in the skimmer. This will act like a gizmo. If freezing happens the ice will crush the bottle not break out the skimmer
  19. online maybe shop around for Jandy Aquapure Goldline Aqua Rite Intelli Chlor Auto pilot
  20. Does you sell all 3 of those brands, Caldera, Hot Spring and Maxx? I can still get Maax spas and right now a dual dealer for Watkins
  21. The printed part number on the piece form Aqua Flo most of the time do not have the last digit. Also some part numbers have been changed. All covers for all HP will work with a XP2 wet end. Replace the seal too the generic is PS200. The letters might be different but the 200 will be the same.
  22. Just let us know what models your looking at and we can tell if it is a good price or not. Some Manufactures change the pricing 2-3 a year. Dealers are aloud to what ever pricing we want. Top of the line spas sell from $9000.00 and up. I can help you with Caldera, Hotspring, and rest of Watkins pricing as well as Maax pricing. I can not give out cost info just MSRP info.
  23. Did they try a new sensor? I had the oppisite problem with a Hayward Heat pump. Heat pump said pool was 80 and was only 75. New sensor fixed it. If they tried the sensor did they do a ohms test to see if they read water temp correctly. If sensors check out I would think the the pc board is not doing something the right way.
  24. chlorine is safe at levels recommended for pools. Do you have public water? if yes what do think they use to sanitize it. Chlorine. Ionizer are the biggest joke there is they work to slow to be effective.
  25. you have air entering the system. check all fittings in front of the pump. valve lids if any, any threaded fitting, pump strainer lid and o ring, look for cracks. When the pump is off how fast does the basket lose the water? it is not a clogged line.
