Is there a reliable test kit on the market (specifically for salt water pools) that would be highly recommended for home owners easy to use) that want to maintain a good balance.

Any information will be gratefully received. Also i would appreciate any advice given with regards salt pools as i'm a newbie with salt water.

Thanks, Paul.

Get a Taylor K-2006 (not the K-2005) for testing chlorine, pH, TA, CH and CYA. Supplement with the Taylor K-1766 titration test or Aquachek salt test strips for salt testing (If you use the strips make sure to let them develop for a full 10 minutes before reading them) and, if you are adding borate to your pool (highly recommended) use LaMotte borate test strips since they are much easier to read that the AquaChek ones.

If you are wondering I have a salt pool myself.
