simmo1 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Hi Guys, I have just noticed that there is a small hairline crack near the top of my sand filter, and when the pump is going water is leaking out of it! Pool Clown Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Without seeing the cracks first hand, I couldn't tell. If you decide to try a patch, i.e. an epoxy of some kind, put your patch on the inside of the tank, that way the patch will be constantly being pushed out thru the crack by the pressure in the tank. If you put a patch on the outside, it wont seal as well, and will probably begin to leak again. Quote
