Alan Miller Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Is there anyone that has the solution to the temp sensor inside the intelliclor reading wrong. The pool water temp is 71 degrees and the clorinator is turning off due to low water temp. I called Pentair and they said that the temp sensor inside the generator is bad and I would have to replace the whole unit. The unit is programed to shut off at 52 degrees from the factory. Pool Clown Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I'm sorry but thats about what you have to do at this point. I haven't heard of anyone hacking these units. How old is the Ic 40? Quote

How old is the Ic 40? Well as it turns out the generator is 3 years old this month and will be replaced under the warranty. Thank's for the response. Alan Quote
