JFS Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Have 25 yr old Polaris 180.Water began flowing at full force out of sweep hose, drenching my whole house.Checked adjustment screw it appears OK and even tightening with wrench will not stop flow.Otherwise it seems to be working OK.This is new one for me and I hane been servicing this thig myself for 25 yrs. Pool Clown Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Sounds as if one of the other jets has gotten clogged , causing the remaining jets to have more pressure. Other jets would include: The paddle wheel jet, drive jet, vacuume jet(s), or sweep hose (we know that one works). You may be able to clear a jet with a paper clip. Quote
