Nikki Posted June 10, 2007 Report Share Posted June 10, 2007 I've read that you can add salt (solar salt) to a pool even when you're using the BBB method. Wondering how many of you have tried it and if you've noticed a difference in the feel of the water. I am going to give it a try, but am having a hard time figuring out how much salt to add. I also need to order a test kit that tests the CYA. I looked at Walmart, Target and Lowes today, but none of the kits test the CYA levels.
