rubberduck
This is weird. I finally got the pool water cyrstal clear. After upteen chem. applications. Tomorrow I am due to shock it again. I also plan on vacuuming it, as I noticed this morning a brown sediment on the bottom of the pool. There are also still a little leaves. The sediment I can easily sweep around with the vaccum head. But I noticed when I took the pool ladder out that it is stained a light brown. Just the part that hits the water. I tried rubbing it, and it doesn't come off easily or not at all. It's like a very light brown stain. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks!
rklesla
Could be 2 things. Filter is dirty and blowing some dirt from there back out into the pool. Or you had algae and now its dead sitting on the floor. As far as stains, maybe bleach it, normally if it sits in a chlorinated pool, it will turn pure white.
