Julison
Hi, I’ve own a Coast Spa, model 2TSSW36. I bought it 2nd hand about 6 years ago and it has very reliable. I drain it for the summer and restart in the fall. This year upon restarting I encountered a very odd leak. Whenever I turn on pump 2, water pumps out of a line that is located behind the hatch that provides access to the light and control module. When I turn off pump 2 the water stops flowing out of the line. I was never sure what the line was for - it is -1” in diameter and attaches to nothing at one end and the other end appears to head off to a jet in the bottom of the tub. I am unable to upload the video but I snapped a n image from it to show the tube and the amount of water pumping out of it when pump 2 is started. Any idea on what is causing this error? RDspaguy
Those are usually air intakes for the jet air control valves or manifold. Either way, it should go up under the shoulder above water line. This becomes pressurized from damaged or improperly installed jets. Under normal circumstances this is an air vacuum line.
