Bullfrog Spa - @ease Chemical System Alternative

I own a 3 yr. old A8 and it runs great. Bullfrog changed their chemical system a year ago promoting the @ease system. Very convenient but very pricey with a monthly cost of about $30 if used as directed. I am fine with weekly tub chemical maintenance so I would be curious to know what other Bullfrog users use for their chemical products as an alternative to the @ease system. Thank you

I also currently use the @ease system. A smartchlor usually lasts me 4-5 weeks. My tub is 300 Gal and I set the smartchlor on 2. It's still expensive though. When my supply is exhausted I'm switching to dichlor/liquid bleach. It's a little more work as you need to dose usually after use and monitor daily for best results but it's cheap, especially when compared to the Frog system.
