Debbpic Posted May 24, 2021 Report Share Posted May 24, 2021 Hi - we bought our Miami last summer and little or no issues with it at all. This year is a different story. We set it up again at the beginning of April and it was all going well for a week then we noticed the water was murky and smelling like a pond! (In my head it seemed like it was thick too, like soup but I think that was imaginary!) So we emptied it and cleaned again and reset it up. Within a week or so the same thing happened. It is only the two of us that use it perhaps 3 times a week. The chemicals are fine, we test every day. We have tried the crystal water clearer but that hasn't worked. We both shower before getting in, even if we don't I definitely remove my make up and wash my armpits (sorry!) Not sure what else we can do but I won't go in it again. We have shut it down and will be emptying it again. Can anyone shed light on what might be happening this time around? When you shut a spa down there is usually residual water left in the plumbing.
