Tbcmblair
I’m new to this and I found a ton of vermiculite for sale but is labeled for block insulation. I am wondering if this would work for a pool floor? Thanks in advance.
RDspaguy
Vermiculite is used because it is fibrous and forms a stable, non-shifting base. Where sand will be deformed by feet and leave an uneven surface that is difficult to clean. If this vermiculite is in block form it will not serve as a pool floor. Tbcmblair
It is not in block form they use it to pour into cinder blocks for insulation I believe.
RDspaguy
Then I imagine it will be fine.
