mdk369rides
I am having trouble with my Soft Tub constantly cycling on and off. The thermostat will swing wildly, up 108 then back to 100, and I know the tub is only at 102-104 degrees. The tub with turn on for a few seconds and then cycle back off, only to do it again less than a minute later. Also, sometimes the thermostat resets to 100 degree without the GFI or breaker having been tripped. Does any one have any ideas about what might be going on. I have only had the tub for about 4 years, so it is pretty frustrating. Thanks!
RDspaguy
I have several ideas. First off, take out the filter and see if that helps.

mdk369rides
I took off the filter, and unplugged the tub for over an hour. I plugged it back in and left the filter off, and it is still doing the same thing. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
RDspaguy
How is the flow from the jets? It sounds to me like the flow is not keeping up with the heat output. So your temp reading rises rapidly with little change to actual temp in the spa. It could also be a control issue, overheating transformer causing variable readings and system reset. Eliminate flow as an issue, and incoming power, and you are left with controls.
