jules42071
I have a pneumatic spaguts replacement spa pack (hydro quip 6000 from what I can gather) with everything (spa pack, pump (2 speed), and blower) new as of 3 years ago. It has its own breaker and power supply. The blower just stopped working last week. I replaced the air switch hoping that was the issue- it wasn't. Tested the outlet where the blower plugs into the pack and there is not enough power. I get 120 but the blower is 1.5 hp and requires 220. I cannot find a diagram anywhere of any pneumatic spa pack. I am not able to trace the wires after the plug in inside the pack to see where to test next. I am about at the end of my rope here. Spaguts who I bought the whole lot from is no help. The blower worked fine then I repaired two wires where the cap had melted - cleaned the wires up and reconnected and capped them. There were only the two wires (Power from breaker to power in box)and I left nothing out and everything else works circulation pump, heater all work. Have been running to keep from freezing on timer and have had no further issues with overheat or melting- obviously only running when home to be sure house doesn't burn down. I really need some direction please. The breaker is not switching and I can hear a click of the air switch so that is working. Any help or a diagram would be greatly appreciated. The spa is built into the porch, the pack, and all working parts are above and beside the spa itself. I have no reason to believe water got into the blower - there is the Hartford loop and a check valve and all is above water line. I live in a small town so not many if any spa specialists around. Thank you in advance
