BritannyJ Posted February 26, 2016 Report Share Posted February 26, 2016 Just filled the hot tub finally after a couple of months and bad weather of jet body and hose repairs. Today i turned on the hot tub and pump #1 starts and send pressure for 1 second then shuts off and then on again sending pressure for 1 second and repeats. Pump 2 works fine. I looked at the circuit board at the same time and i can see 2 relays switching with the on/off issue. There is also a code that appears to be an upside down F (F55) or upside down F (FSS) I think it's 55. Any pointers on what i'm dealing with? Hot tub is a "Pacific 830 S" and electronics are Balboa. BritannyJ Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2016 Water is topped up. Same issue. I just unplugged the top control panel and started the tub and works fine. Shut off breaker and plugged in top control again, working. New problem. After about 25 seconds the breaker tripped. Turning off breaker and retrying it trips immediately now it's not wet at all and grounds are tight. Wired using #6 wire. The error code appears to be 5567 but the 67 part is lit up in full.
