Hotsprings Jetsetter Pump Problem Or Airlock?

Hi wonder if anyone can help me, I have a hotsprings jetsetter and I cannot get the pump that operates the jets to work. A bit of history if it helps, The tub was working fine and I moved house taking the tub with me, however there was nowhere for the tub so I stayed in the bdrive unused for 18 months, I have now moved again connected it all up and the jets don't work, the circulation pump works as there is the trail of small bubbles from the floor. I have tried to see if there is any air in the lines but still the pump doesn't work. I tried the bleed screw on the pump and the pipe unions on top and end of the pump. When I select the jets there is a click and a low hum as if the pump wants to go but nothing. I have put a hose down the filter pipe, and I forced water through the jets at the end where the pump is (some air bubbles did come back out the other jet when I did this if that means anything) Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the replies, not the answer I'd hoped lol, it does sound like the pump wants to turn but then nothing, is there an easy fix for it (apart from replacing it) is there something I can do myself (limited knowledge ) Thanks for the offer Brian VT but unfortunately I'm not near you, I live in Cyprus in the Mediterranean.
