Boeingdriver
Own a 98 Jacuzzi Z145 hot tub. turned off and tripped GFI to drain and clean.Upon refill,GFI..50A,240, continues to trip. With insight from this forum..was able to troubleshoot system. When heater is disconnected GFI does not trip, tub turns on. Assume bad heater element. Balboa, heater manufacturer, recommends not replacing element but whole unit. any recommendations?..Thanks in Advance.
jgraves
Rather than replace the heater element in my 1999 Master Spa I elected to do the entire assembly. I think is was a Balboa 50080. The price for the whole thing vs. the heater element only was minimal.

jgraves
I bought mine from Pool and Spa parts depot. It ended up not being a Balboa one but it was made in the USA and fit just fine. It came with new o-rings as well as tail pieces. http://www.poolandspapartsdepot.com/
