bgibson253
I bought my house coming up on two years ago. Before i bought it the hot tub that came with the house didn't work and they didn't want to fix it. They eventually agreed to fix it and it was working alright for awhile but now doesn't work at all. So it would randomly just turn off before. It wouldn't trip the breaker but opening and then closing the breaker would work to get it going again. Then one time it just didnt work. It's a marquis spa. I'm having trouble finding the serial number. I might need to crawl under the deck its built in to for it. House was built in 09 so probably something from around that time. I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the motor and flow and maybe some kind of heater trip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Markee
It could be the heater, or something else in the hot tub. I would recommend having your local Marquis dealer come out and take a look at it.
bgibson253
So it's a marquis euphoria silver anniversary. It had filters on it with no markings to indicate what they were. I bought new filters. Right now I am cleaning it out because it hasn't been used all winter and then some. Figure I'll clean it, fill it up, and troubleshoot and if I can't figure it out then get someone. Think I might undo the suction strainers and clean them out or something. Do people do that typically? I'm hoping it was just a low flow situation do to the filters or something. Any help is appreciated. Also I wanted to see if relays were in the right position. It has two flo master xp2 pumps and a balboa mts2ku board
Markee
Dirty filters wouldn't cause it to trip the breaker. If anything, they could make it display a flow error on the control panel. The bottom suctions don't need to be cleaned. The filters in that spa are a standard Marauis screw in filter - part number 20042, 20092, or 20670. Any of those will work.
