sab0282
I have just replaced all the solar tubing on my pool solar. It is a rubber mat type system with 10 tubes per section, if that makes sense. Anyway where the tubing pushes onto the manifolds it leaks. Not all of them leak but the ones that do are driving me nuts. The pool guy said they shouldn't need sealant as they wont leak when you push them on. Well they do and hence my problem. I have tried zip ties to no avail. I did see a guy on you tube sealing the nipples with a sealant before pushing them on but I couldn't see the name of it. Any one got any ideas? I'm happy to use a sealant on them but I just don't know what to use. Not only is the leaking a waste but it will wreck the roof and spouting over time, Thanks in advance.
