500Stroker
I have a 6 year old Hot Spot tub that was manufactured by Watkins. When you pres the start/stop button the tub may or may not start and if you do get it to start it does not want to shut off via the button. Under normal heating cycles it stops and starts on by itself just fine. Help!!!!!!!!!!!
PreservedSwine
Which button? do you mean the jets button? a 6 yr old Hot Spot doesn't really have a "stop/start" button, but older Hot Spots do. Like a 1999 or older. Are you sure it's 6 years old? Does it have a digital topside control, or just a couple of buttons? Troubleshooting is different for each model, so let's get started on the right foot

Build date that is laminated on the tub shell is 9-24-07. Trinadad Hot Spot Series TR 13J3073 Thanks for the comeback
PreservedSwine
If the jets button is non-responsive, (but the tub heats just fine) replace the topside control
500Stroker
Thanks for the come back Spa Guru. I will replace topside control as suggested. Do you have a recommendation of where I can source the parts w/o getting raped?
Isaac-1
backyardplus.com seems to have good prices, I bought something from them for my Hot Spring tub, best of all they have a good part locator where you enter the serial number of your tub and it tells you if the part will fit.
